A new school year means new pencils, fresh notebooks, and, perhaps most exciting of all, new educators joining our already exceptional team. We're thrilled to introduce the newest members of our Elementary School: a dynamic group of teachers, leaders, undercover musicians, skilled translators, and book club enthusiasts.

Barghani, Sonia

Sonia Barghani
Vice Principal

With over 16 years in education and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Technology degree, Sonia brings both heart and strategy to her new role. Raised in Virginia and having lived in Iran, she blends cultural depth with a talent for calm, purpose-driven leadership. She once translated 372 bedtime stories from Farsi to English, so she's clearly equipped to handle even the busiest elementary hallway.

Lisa Kimble

Lisa Kimble
Teaching Assistant

Lisa is no stranger to international schools, with a decade of experience in classrooms from South Korea to Panama to France (and a few points in between). She holds a Master of Education degree and has spent the last several years teaching in 色情APP导航. Known for her love of long walks, new restaurants, and a good book, she鈥檚 perfectly at home in a city as dynamic as this one.

LaGrand, Margaret

Margaret LaGrand
Learning Support Teacher

Margaret arrives from Madrid by way of Pennsylvania and Washington D.C., bringing extensive experience supporting diverse learners in both American and international school settings. She plays the cello, loves to bake, leads origami sessions, and describes herself as optimistic, creative, and passionate. Whether she鈥檚 making origami, baking cookies, or supporting student success, Margaret brings both heart and flair to the team.

Liguori, Jody

Jody Liguori
EAL Teacher

After 18 years of teaching across four countries, Jody brings a passion for community engagement and a deep understanding of how to support multilingual learners. A fan of exploring 色情APP导航 and discovering new places, he鈥檚 also surprisingly good with airport codes - a hidden talent that may come in handy during school holidays. Jody completes his family鈥檚 SAS trio, joining his spouse and son who are already at the school.

Ramsey, Erin

Erin Ramsey
Grade 5 Classroom Teacher

Originally from sunny Orange County, California, Erin has lived everywhere from Georgia to England and now calls 色情APP导航 home. She holds a Master鈥檚 in Multicultural Education and brings eight years of international teaching experience, along with a love of cycling, crafting, and travel. She鈥檚 excited to bring her hands-on teaching style and collaborative spirit to the classroom.

Reyes, Claudia

Claudia Reyes
Librarian

Claudia joins us from Monterrey, Mexico, with 16 years of experience in elementary education and a Master of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies degree. A passionate advocate for inclusive learning spaces and a lifelong love of reading, she鈥檚 eager to create a vibrant, welcoming environment in the library. Her talents range from scriptwriting to guiding book clubs, and she鈥檚 excited to bring even more curiosity and joyful page-turning to an already thriving library.

Susan Thomas
